We're All Human 5k Color Run

It’s true, running is not always the most fun thing in the whole world. It is, however, so awesome for your body and mind, and can have so many positive effects including reducing stress, improving heart health, and just giving you an overall sense of energy. So, when you’re preparing for a run, what are a few ways to make it a little more enjoyable? There’s always music which is awesome, you can just pick a song and jam out. There’s also always treadmills that allow you to focus on watching TV. But the coolest and most unique way by far is to sign up for a color run!

In the Purcellville, VA area, there will be a color run coming up on September 29! Set your alarms for 10 a.m., because that’s when the We’re All Human 5k Color Run will begin at Woodgrove High School! The day is hosted by the Ryan Bartel Foundation, and Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat Of Winchester is a proud supporter of this event.

The Details

You already know the who, what, when, where, and why; Everyone, We’re All Human 5k Color Run, September 29, Woodgrove High School, and for youth suicide awareness and prevention. So as you can see, it’s an awesome cause that could always use support.

If you register before September 27, the cost is $30, but on the day of it increases to $35. There is a discount for teams of more than 10!

During the race, runners will pass through 8 color stations. Each station is meant to represent a strength category in life so that by the end of the race participants are multi-colored and filled with hope and joy. Stay afterward, too, because there will be fun prizes and raffles!

What To Bring

When running outside, always make sure you have a water bottle with you! It might also be a good idea to have sunscreen, glasses, and a hat to be safe. If you plan on staying after the race as well, pack a towel and maybe a change of shirt, that way you’ll be comfortable if you do decide to stay.
