Jeep designers have revamped the Compass from the inside out, amplifying almost every aspect of your drive. Discover the new look, feel, and performance of a truly modern compact SUV. The 2022 Compass will be here this fall.
What’s New for the 2022 Compass
The Jeep Compass was showing its age, it hasn’t been updated since 2017. That may not seem like long ago, but in the car world, it’s a while. The Compass has been refreshed and brought up to speed with the rest of the lineup. The affordable crossovers have been a booming market since they came out and you know what makes the Compass even better – it can off-road! The interior is now sophisticated and stylish. Technology has been upgraded to the Uconnect 5 system – a fan favorite for its quick responsiveness and clear picture. The new Compass commands your attention with its modern facelift including new front and rear fascias, LED lights, an updated grille, and 19-inch wheels.
Goodbye boring interior, hello stunning interior. The Compass has added a little bit of spice to its interior and they did it well. A new two-tone interior is available. The grey on bright brown is a vibe, it creates a young and modern vibe. New door trim and bezels complement the cabin’s bold look with subtle detail. The result is an entirely cohesive interior design. No more fighting over the front seats for the heated seats during winter because the Compass has available heated rear seats.
Jeep didn’t forget about the exterior while revamping the interior. They updated the iconic 7-slot grille, new LED headlamps, and additional wheel options including 19-inch wheels.
The 2022 Jeep Compass comes standard with a 2.4L I-4 engine that produces a humble 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed automatic engine is standard on all front-wheel-drive models. If all-wheel drive is more your speed, you will enjoy a variety of different drive modes to conquer all-terrains. If you choose the Trailhawk Compass you will have a low Rock mode for crawling. The Trailhawk also has a 1-inch lift to increase your ground clearance to 8.6-inches. Jeep makes off-roading possible for all of its vehicles. No wonder it’s so loved and embarrassed by all.
Stay in control with the 2022 Jeep Compass. Get all the tech, on the go!
Welcome to a new era of confidence and peace of mind behind the wheel. Safety is at the forefront of buyer’s must-have lists. The newly redesigned Compass comes equipped with more advanced standard features. More high-tech safety features have been made standard such as full-speed collision warning with automatic braking, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and pedestrian/cyclist detection. The 2022 Compass has a 360-degree camera that’s available in the higher trim levels but does still have the classic rearview camera. You will need to step up into a higher trim level for full-speed adaptive cruise control and parking assistance. A new feature we are seeing more and more of is traffic sign recognition. Sign recognition can take into account weather conditions, trailering, school zones, work zones, and Do Not Pass signs to ensure you are fully safe while driving.
