It’s A Jeep Thing In Berkley Springs

On the hunt for fun weekend activities with like-minded people in Morgan County, West Virginia? Then look no further than the upcoming It’s a Jeep Thing in Berkeley Springs. Hosted by The Xtra Mile Foundation and Big Dogs Family Offroad, the three-day event takes place from Sept. 24-26, 2021, beginning on Friday with the Jeep n’ Greet at Cacapon Resort State Park.

Jeep n’ Greet (Friday)

The weekend kicks off under the shadow of a folded mountain ridge in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle at Cacapon Resort State Park. Assemble your Jeep Clubs, or drive in solo, and celebrate all things Jeep Life. This event will feature plenty of food trucks and music that will keep you entertained for this casual parking lot party.

Boys and Girls Club Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, Duck Duck Derby, and Engine Block Party (Saturday)

Day two commences with the Boys and Girls Club’s ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. Following that event, head on over to the park for an exciting Rubber Ducky Race to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Morgan County and the Xtra Mile Foundation (be sure to sponsor your ducks online before the event, or in person the day of, for a chance to win).

You then can head down to the town of Bath to enjoy some great shopping and delicious food. The day culminates with the Engine Block Party at the Cacapon Mountain Brewery with live music provided and sponsored by Hot Buttered Elvis.

Scavenger Hunt (Sunday)

The weekend wraps up with the Scavenger Hunt. Feel free to choose any available path and venture out to explore historical, flavorful, and fun destinations. Those who complete the Scavenger Hunter check-in will be entered to win the weekend’s grand prize.
