First Look: 2025 RAM HD Trucks Refresh
- Ram has released official images of the upcoming 2025 RAM 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty trucks.
- A full reveal is expected before the end of 2024.
- Give us a call or read on for more details!
The 2025 RAM HD models receive a mid-cycle refresh rather than a full redesign, but these updates still pack a punch. All models enjoy new geometrical grille designs, and complementing this are split headlights—new quad headlamps that add a modern twist to its rugged persona. Each trim offers distinct grille designs and lighting signatures, helping to differentiate them on the road.
The rear-end sees subtler updates, with slight tweaks to the tail lamps and trailer electrical connections, likely enhancing towing and utility. And while we don’t have specifics yet, RAM is expected to improve the truck’s already top-notch towing capabilities to keep up with rivals.
A Bump in Power?
RAM has kept powertrain details under wraps for now, but early teasers and badges spotted on prototypes suggest that the legendary Cummins Turbo Diesel will remain a staple of the lineup. The high-output 6.7-liter Turbo Diesel inline-six is expected to deliver even more torque than previous models, ensuring that RAM keeps pace in the ongoing heavy-duty truck power wars. Rumors point to a new eight-speed ZF automatic transmission for better efficiency and smoother towing dynamics, making the 2025 RAM HD ready to haul heavier loads with ease.
